Veterinarian's Oath
(Perez-Oil on Canvas)
As soon as you enter the Animal Clinic you know your pet will be in good hands.
Service to your pet and you are the number one priority of Dr. Ladron and his staff. Paperwork is simple, and while appointments are always the best idea, emergencies are given a "Code Red" priority.
When you adopt a pet at the Shelter, you get a card for a free exam by the Vet (for your pet, not you) and a 50% discount on a spay or neuter.
Dr. Ladron is a hands-on Vet with years of experience. He and his staff, including two other Vets, give your pet their undivided attention. Here Dr. Ladron is giving a basic examination to a dog and if he feels a need, he will order lab work to rule-out or confirm a diagnosis.
You will also be given an explanation (in English if that is your preference) of what the diagnosis it, any treatment plan and the anticipated prognosis. You can ask questions and you won't be rushed. Dr. Ladron and his staff understand your have put the health and life of a loved family member in their hands and your concern and trust will not be misplaced at the Animal Clinic.,
"State-of-the-art" is not a catch-phrase at the Animal Clinic, it is a description of what is available for your beloved pet.
From X-rays, including contrast, to C.A.T. Scans, lab work, surgery, physical therapy and whatever else is needed, will be available to your pet.
Here in the surgical recovery area, a dog is receiving an I.V. and will be checked on regularly by the trained staff and sent home when ready.
And if at some point you feel compassion because your pet's quality of life has been lost, the gentle and loving hands of Dr. Ladron will help you do what you feel is best for your deeply loved pet.
When Geoffrey Kaye opened the Lakeside Animal Shelter he believed that saving the animals and finding them homes was only part of what he wanted. He also wanted to make sure the adoptees had access to first-class Veterinary services, so he built the Animal Clinic right next to the shelter and made sure it was second to none Lakeside. The Animal Clinic examines every animal that comes into the Shelter, and when one is adopted, gives a free check-up to make sure everything is well. The Animal Clinic treats dogs, cats and other four-footers.
